Used Squier Vista Series Musicmaster Bass Vintage White
Squier Vista Series Musicmaster bass, made 1997 in Taiwan in vintage white. These were made for one year only, 1997, and were a reissue of Fender's Musicmaster bass that was made 1971-81. It's basically a stripped down version of the also-short-scale Mustang bass. This weighs almost nothing, has a slim little comfy neck and simple electronics... really you just pick up and play; everything is easy. If you like the comfort and ease of a short scale, this is an unusual and fun little addition to the collection!
Model: Squier Vista Series Musicmaster Bass
Made in: China, Yako plant Taiwan, 1997 (serial YN701165)
Finish: vintage white, 3-ply white guard
Body: poplar
Neck: maple with rosewood board, dot inlays, 30" scale
Mods: none
Pickup: 'Vista tone' single coil
Case: none
Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. There's a couple of minor dings near the strap pin, as well as a handful of skin-deep marks on the back; really nothing to note. Guard has a few scratches, chrome is looking good. Overall: very good condition (8/10)
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electrics tested and working properly. The frets have been played, but wear is almost negligible, 8/10. Cheeky little bass with heaps of character.
