Fender Vintera '50s/MIJ Traditional '60s Stratocaster Sonic Blue 2021
Fender Vintera 50s Strat, sonic blue, 2021. This one is a bit of a curiosity, but it'll be perfect for someone out there. The story goes that a local customer of ours was building a Strat, and he wanted the body and pickups and from the always-great MIJ Trad 60s Strat, but with the soft-V maple neck from a Mexican Vintera '50s... chasing a Gilmour-inspired vibe. This guitar is the evil twin of his scheming, so it's got the Vintera '50s body, finished in gorgeous sonic blue, paired with a rosewood adorned neck from the MIJ Trad series. If you love the '50s voiced pickups and soft vintage blue finish of a Vintera, but prefer the more modern style 9.5" radius and legit rosewood board instead of pao ferro... well, have I got a guitar for you. It all works together nicely: the neck pocket is tight and tidy, the string path over the pickups is accurate, the natural resonance is there. There's a nice growly snap to the tone, the 50s-style pickups deliver a tasty girth and grit that gets along well with a lightly driven tube amp. Let's be honest: I love it first of all for the rosewood/sonic blue combo, and you're no different, right?

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The neck and headstock are very clean, no major marks. The back has a couple of very minor scuffs on the back edge, no major marks. The sides have no major marks. The front has no major marks. Overall: excellent condition (9.5/10).
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electrics tested and working properly. The frets are more or less brand new, 10/10 for fret life left. Wearing fresh 10/46 Moonshiners strings
