Fender Made In Japan Traditional 70s Telecaster Sunburst 2016
Fender MIJ Trad 70s Telecaster, sunburst, 2016. Every day is Tele Tuesday somewhere, right? This good looker is a more recent example of the 70s style Tele from Fender Japan, so it's got the bold black logos, darker three tone sunburst and the comfy slim neck. It's a cool look; classic and classy but with a certain swagger to it. The bridge pickup has been swapped out for a Duncan Quarter Pound, which is fun. It's a high-output passive single coil, so it'll still deliver a chiming twang played clean, but it makes for an enormous, creamy rich overdrive tone that's perfect for expansive rhythm parts. The neck pickup is still standard, doling out the glassy sparkly chime. Teles should be simple and effective and heaps of fun to play... tick, tick tick.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has some dimples on the end and bottom edge. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, no major marks The back has some scuffs near the neck plate, on the top horn and in the elbow area. The sides have some scuffs in the elbow area and near the jack. The front has no major marks, just some play wear on the guard and top horn. Overall: excellent condition (9/10)
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good. All electronics tested and working properly. The frets have some minor wear, 8/10 for fret life left. Wearing fresh 10/46 Moonshiners strings.
